Chef Alexis Hernández’s culinary journey began with his Cuban heritage, where food was deeply connected to family, tradition, and community. Inspired by the meals and stories shared around the family table, he developed a lasting passion for cooking and a love for the stories that food carries. As he pursued his career in professional kitchens, he discovered a passion for writing, using words to explore the memories, experiences, and emotions woven into culinary life. Today, as a chef and author, Alexis brings together food and storytelling, celebrating the belief that meals nourish more than the body - they connect people, preserve traditions, and create lasting memories.
